Client Update: How we are responding to challenging times

 

We would like to take this opportunity to share with our valued clients and friends what we are doing to manage the impact of COVID-19 for our team, clients, and as a law firm.

 

We have enacted a plan to protect the health of our people and wider community and to maintain the continuity of services to our clients, which we are currently putting into practice.

 

One of the key goals of our plan is to harness the flexible and resilient qualities of our systems and processes to maintain the service levels we currently provide to our clients with minimal disruption.

 

Although we are establishing shorter office hours (10:00 a.m. to 3:00 pm; Monday – Thursday), our systems allow the staff of Austin Law to work flexibly and from remote locations, replicating the exact environment a staff member uses when working on our systems in our office. Moreover, we also can perform “house calls” and “curbside services” such as notary services and execution of other documents.

 

Austin Law has virtual meeting room facilities and teleconferencing systems that allow us to communicate between our office and our clients while ensuring confidentiality. Our systems enable us to work in an equivalent environment from home or other remote locations to limit the spread of disease.

 

Due to our virtual meeting rooms and teleconferencing, we can continue business without face to face meetings. Wherever possible we will be working with our clients to meet and to provide our normal value added services through these portals.

As the global COVID-19 public health emergency continues to spread and create challenges for families and businesses worldwide, we wanted to share with you how Austin Law Firm is addressing many of the same challenges that our clients may be facing and to offer our assistance, should it be helpful.

We have adopted the mantra, “Prepare for the Worst; Pray for the Best.” While our principal concern is with the humanitarian nature of the pandemic, our resources ensure we remain available to serve our clients during this challenging time.  Our staff and clients are able to take advantage of advanced thinking resources to manage and mitigate the impact of the virus as it spreads.

 

We have best practice business continuity processes in place to ensure both safety and confidentiality. We remain prepared to serve our clients during this crucial time with both curb-side or in-home services.
